Capi (the “App”) is a staycation management tool published for Filipino hosts. This Privacy Policy describes what information the App handles, where it lives, and what we do — and don't do — with it.
The short version
No account. No analytics. No advertising. No third-party trackers. Your bookings, guests, and revenue stay on your devices and in your iCloud — never on our servers, because we don't have any.
1. Information We Collect
We collect nothing. The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, or share personal information with us. There is no registration step and no telemetry sent to any server we operate.
2. Information You Enter Into the App
When you use Capi, you enter information yourself — bookings, guest names, dates, prices, expenses, unit details, and so on. This data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. Capi does not transmit this data to us.
iCloud sync (optional)
If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud sync enabled in your device settings, the App uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data across your own devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud container, encrypted by Apple, and accessible only to you. Neither the App's developer nor any third party can read it.
You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your iOS Settings.
3. Information Used by the System
Capi uses standard iOS frameworks for notifications and local storage. These do not collect personal data on our behalf:
- Notifications — used only to deliver your daily morning brief and evening prep nudge. Scheduled locally on your device.
- Local storage — bookings, expenses, and unit data live in the App's sandboxed storage on your device.
- Photo attachments — if you attach receipt photos, the App accesses your photo library only with your permission, and only the photos you select are stored within the App.
4. What We Do Not Do
- We do not run analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting on you.
- We do not show advertising or share data with advertisers.
- We do not embed third-party trackers, SDKs, or marketing pixels.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any information — because we don't have any.
- We do not have a server that holds user data.
5. App Store Purchase Information
Purchases of Capi are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple's privacy practices are governed by their own policy, available at apple.com/legal/privacy.
6. Children's Privacy
Capi is intended for adult staycation hosts and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
7. Data Export & Deletion
You can export your bookings and expenses at any time as CSV files using the Backup & Export feature in Settings. To delete all your data, simply delete the App from your device. If you have iCloud sync enabled, you can also remove Capi's data from your iCloud storage in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.
8. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and announce the change in an App update. Because the App does not have your contact information, we cannot notify you directly.
